Poor construction

I purchased the cell phone holder for the dash mount in the springs and moving parts seem to be pretty good quality but the little rubber pads that are supposed to secure your cell phone we’re both actually broken after two uses. I have an S6 plus cell phone and the phone would not stay in the perch while driving even after removing the OtterBox. I’m also not happy with this product and would like to return it .
ConsContact pad design is very poor and weak .

phone not secure

phone is hard to get in and out. One of the clips that holds the phone broke off after a week.
Proseasy install, nice upgrade for storage
Consphones don't go in and out easily.
Can't angle downward.
The clips hit the buttons on side of phone

iPhone X barely squeezes in to the bracket, difficult to adjust the ball joint so that phone is plumb. The insert to the dash is nice. Upgrade the phone holder and I'll but again. At the moment shipping it back.

ConsYou have to frequently tighten the nut on the back that holds the phone clip.

This item takes the catchall space on the top of the dashboard to a whole new level!!! No looking down to see who texted or called but holds the cell phone at eye level so you can still keep your eyes on the road!!! No round spots on the windshield and no sticky residue like other options!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!

As usual, Just for Jeeps comes through for me. I had exhausted my search for a phone holder that actually worked with my Jeep. Honestly it was getting quite dangerous always having to retrieve my fallen phone. This is the perfect answer. Now I can take long trips and actually have my GPS in perfect view.
