I've been slowly deleting the chrome parts off of my Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, and I wanted to replace the original chrome surround, but not with the glossy black version found on the Altitude models. The texture of this is a perfect match to the textured step pad on top. Very affordable and not too hard to install. Just pry up the front tabs only (not the back ones, they will break) using a non-marring trim removal tool, then firmly grab the surround and pull straight out and slightly up. No tabs to release, it will just slide right out. The other one slides right in, then use the trim tool to pop the tabs back in, you will have to use some force, but they won't break, just make sure you are holding the step pad up and over the surround as not to scratch it when pushing the tabs back in.
