Deluxe Molded Splash Guards for 2005-2010 Grand Cherokee WK
Whether you're splashing down a muddy road or just upping the style quotient in the Cineplex parking lot, these molded splash guards are a popular and useful accessory for your 2005-2010 WK Grand Cherokee. Splash guards protect your Jeep's body and add an attractive accent at the same time. They're made of a rubber and plastic composite that is tough enough to withstand abuse and just flexible enough to bend rather than break. They come in black but can also be painted. Splash guards are sold in sets of two for front and rear installation. The Jeep logo is only on the rear guards.
WILL NOT FIT SRT8 MODELS.

REVIEWS
Front Splash Guard (3 hrs Solo)
- Prethread bolts/screws onto clips before installation as it makes mounting easier.
- Most difficult part is keeping the clips (H) in place and aligned with the holes while putting the inner wheel well fiber molding back in place and attaching the splash guard. Use a thin screwdriver or awl to align the clips, molding & splash guard prior to screwing in the bolts.
- Found it easier to attach screw (E) in step 8 first but do not tighten down until getting the bolts in place in steps 6 & 7. This helps in keeping the splash guard in place while still giving enough flexibility to get everything aligned to complete steps 6 & 7.
Rear Splash Guard (2 hrs Solo)
- Rcvd the wrong mounting hardware with the kit. Replacement hardware was sent promptly.
- Step 3: On my 2020 Grand Cherokee Limited there is actually a screw on the molding vice the plastic rivet shown in the instruction sheet. Easy to unscrew and save for installation of splash guard in step 8.
- Step 9: Before starting this step using a work light look up behind the fender well and locate the mounting hole where the clip (G) and bolt (D) will mount. Due to the location of the mounting hole and confined space I found it impossible to get everything in place and after 1 hour gave up and just used a plastic rivet (E) to secure the splash guard.
- Alternative Instruction: After wasting over an hour on the first splash guard I used the following method to attach the remaining splash guard. Did not use any of the bolts, clips or screws supplied with the kit which allowed me to skip step 6. A) Pre-drill a 1/4" hole in splash guard top needed for step 9 before mounting the splash guard; B) Removed the original screw from vehicle molding (see note on step 3 above); C) Mounted splash guard with original screw; D) While holding upper section of splash guard snugly in place used an awl to poke through and make a starter hole where clip and bolt should go; E) Use a 1/4" drill and cleared the hole and then used a plastic rivet (E) to secure instead of the clip & bolt; F) While holding the lower section of splash guard snugly in place drill a 1/4" hole through lower mounting hole and use plastic rivet to secure; G) Follow steps 13 & 14 as indicated in instructions except use a 3/16" drill bit.
- Using this alternative method and some automotive RTV in the rivet holes the mounting of the splash guard took only 15 min not counting tire dismount & mount. As compared to the 1hr 30min I used on the first splash guard attempting to follow supplied instructions. It also seemed more secure and a better fit.
