Tailgate Reinforcement System for 2018-2021 Wrangler JL
Swing Gate Hinge Reinforcement allows for larger tires to be mounted on the swing gate. The reinforcement is powder-coated black and works with production hinge for easier installation.
Requires Oversized Spare Tire Carrier (P/N 82215355).
For use with tires up to 37".
Also provides mounting provisions for other accessories.

Tailgate reinforcement

Fits great tougher than what I thought to install have to take bolts out that hold tailgate on...WARNING have someone with you to hold on tailgate when you take off almost lost mine to the floor. Fits great like all the mopar parts I have been installing. Again only down fall is the price attached to it

Very easy to install. Be sure tailgate is supported during the install AND to have the T55 and T45 T-Bits on hand. Not part of Jeep tool kit.
ProsPacked very well! No scuffs or dings. Good look and painted coating. Very solid.
ConsLooks are deceiving in regards to its ability to really support. Unfortunate the bolt sizes are different than stock requiring additional T-Bits to install.
